Information: The Arches is a Wales Tourist Board graded five star apartment on the outskirts of Builth Wells in the heart of the beautiful mid Wales countryside. It is self contained and self catering, but a range of food and drink breakfast items are provided so that shopping need not be your number one priority.There are two en suite bedrooms, and a large impressive living area with lovely views. It is in superb decorative order, immaculately clean, and we make it our priority to ensure that you have a comfortable, relaxing and enjoyable stay, whatever your reason for visiting the area. The apartment is straightforward to get to by car, and within easy walking distance of Builth Wells centre and the Royal Welsh Showground. The Apartment is available to book per night, and (with the exception of Royal Welsh Show week in July) prices are the same throughout the year so no inflated prices for school holidays! Minimum price £35 (one person, one night), maximum price £432 (4 people, 6 nights). 10% discount for 3 nights and more.Please note that smoking is not allowed anywhere on our premises.Access to the apartment is from the drive of the main house, where there is a dedicated parking area. There is plenty of space to store bicycles, canoes and other outdoor equipment well away from the road, and there are washing facilities outside the apartment, with drying facilities inside. The apartment interior is all on one level, but is accessed by a number of steps outside. However there is a path and grass slope for pushchairs, wheelchairs etc. adjacent to the steps.The Arches has two twin bedrooms, each with a private bathroom including toilet, washbasin, and bath with shower over. There is a large open plan living area with comfortable seating, and TV with DVD player. The kitchen is fully fitted and includes eye level double oven/grill, separate electric hob, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, refrigerator and toaster. There is a small freezer in the entrance porch, where coats, walking boots etc.can be stored, and dogs accommodated. Views from all windows are very pleasant, overlooking the garden, town and mountains beyond.

The cottage sleeps up to six people and is ideal for anyone wanting to explore the beautiful surroundings of the hills in Mid Wales - perfect for walkers of the Wye Valley Walk, golfers or for people fishing in the Wye. The cottage is fully kitted out for self-catering, but if you don't have the energy for that, just pop next door to the pub and enjoy some of Helen's home-cooking, washed down with a pint of Alun's real ales sat by a log fire! Oh, and don't worry about being disturbed by noise from the pub - the walls are four foot thick! Prices vary, but start at £55 per night for the cottage.
