Information: Recently restored, The Hall, which is 7 miles north of Llandrindod Wells in Powys, sits in an exceptionally beautiful and historic setting. We offer tours of all 52 rooms in a family atmosphere to groups who sample something completely unique in the marriage of architectural (it is Grade11* listed) and interior design beauty, with items from a lifetime of collecting .Our collections include paintings, packaging and signs, vehicles, childrens toys and books, clocks, phonographs and china.Visitors also have full access to 12 acres of landscaped gardens overlooking the ruins of the 12 century cistercian "Abbey of The Long Valley". Like St. Mary's church, the abbey ruins are open to visitors. The site is said to contain the grave of Llewellyn ap Gruffydd, Prince of Wales, who was killed in battle near Builth Wells in 1282.We are entertaining visitors from groups such as Historical Societies, Victorian Societies, Gardening and Flower Clubs, Rotary and Round Table, Car Clubs and Womens Institutes. All are delighted by the quality and variety of the experience. Clubs and associations are coming from all over the UK to see this unique and remarkable place.
