Information: The Wye Knot Stop Café and B&B is situated in the pretty village of Llyswen which is 13 miles from Builth Wells, 10 miles from Brecon and 8 miles from Hay on Wye and with stunning views of the Black Mountains. Our name is taken from the River Wye which has an Oxbow bend resembling a 'Knot'. The area offers many activities for cyclists, anglers, canoeists and walkers. For walkers, we are ideally situated for the Wye Valley Walk and Offa's Dyke is about 8 miles away. The River Wye offers great fishing for anglers and the local canoeing centre is only 4 miles away. Our home is 300 years old and has been a variety of trades over the years which include a Pottery, grocery store and an art gallery.Wye Knot Stop at our Café for breakfast, lunch or afternoon tea. We offer a good choice of home cooked meals and snacks. All our cakes are homemade. Wye knot try our cream teas with clotted cream, strawberry jam and homemade scones!We are open from 10am until 6pm. We can seat 28 inside,12 on our veranda and 18 on the benches on the green. We can also cater for private functions in the evening.We have two en-suite letting rooms, one being a family room which can sleep 4 and a twin room which has disabled facilities. Well behaved dogs are welcome in the rooms. We have a varied menu which also caters for vegetarians. We sell local produce which includes Llanfaes ice cream from Brecon, Ferrari's coffee from Bridgend, Radnor Hills mineral water from Knighton, free range eggs and set and runny honey from the village.
