Information: Set in an area of truly outstanding natural beauty on the edge of the Epynt Mountains outside the village of Llangammarch Wells, (10 minutes drive from the market town of Builth Wells) our charming and comfortable 200 year old cottage will allow you to enjoy all that Mid Wales can offer - hiking, riding, fishing and fantastic mountain biking are all on your doorstep. The cottage, which was refurbished in the Winter of 2010, is beautifully decorated and very well equipped. The living /dining room has welsh oak floorboards, with a stone inglenook fireplace and wood burner a comfortable 3 seater sofa and armchair. The room is equipped with a television, freeview box, blue ray dvd player and cd player with a variety of films and cds to choose from. There is also a wide range of books, games and toys available for guests to use. Wifi is also available at no extra cost. There is a dining table with four chairs The newly fitted kitchen has an electric cooker, dishwasher, fridge with freezer compartment, microwave, toaster, kettle, washing machine, iron and ironing board with a full range of kitchen utensils. The bathroom has a stand alone electric shower, bath and wash basin.Upstairs, the double room has a double bed with a built in wardrobe and chest of drawers. From this room, you have a stunning and uninterrupted view to the east of the Epynt mountain. The twin room has a double aspect overlooking the Epynt Mountain to the east. There is a built in wardrobe with shelving. The cottage has oil central heating which along with electricity use, is included in the price. A cot and stairgate are available for use. Linen is provided and beds are made up on arrival. A telephone is available in the cottage for incoming calls and emergencies. The market town of Builth Wells, which hosts the Royal Welsh Agricultural Show, is a 10 minute drive, the stunning Brecon Beacons National park, a 20 minute drive away. There is ample parking for 2 cars alongside the cottage.

The cottage sleeps up to six people and is ideal for anyone wanting to explore the beautiful surroundings of the hills in Mid Wales - perfect for walkers of the Wye Valley Walk, golfers or for people fishing in the Wye. The cottage is fully kitted out for self-catering, but if you don't have the energy for that, just pop next door to the pub and enjoy some of Helen's home-cooking, washed down with a pint of Alun's real ales sat by a log fire! Oh, and don't worry about being disturbed by noise from the pub - the walls are four foot thick! Prices vary, but start at £55 per night for the cottage.
