Information: Joy & Russell extend a warm welcome to all visitors to The Hollies. We have recently totally refurbished the property to a high specification creating for our guests 1 single room with private shower @ £35, 2 double rooms with ensuite bathrooms @ £55 and 1 family room with ensuite shower room @ £75.. Prices are per room per night including breakfast.We are happy to welcome bikers, walkers, fishermen, golfers and all their equipment. We are within short walking distance of the town centre, showground, the river Wye, the golf club, rugby ground and cricket ground. There are also a number of pubs and restaurants within a short walk but guests who would rather relax of an evening are welcome to make use of our barbecue and patio area.Joy is a retired history teacher and Russell an experienced tour guide. We have specialised knowledge of our beautiful country - its hidden magnificent scenery, its history and culture. We operate our own taxi and mini bus firm and are delighted to escort guests to places they might like to see or show them parts of Wales little known to most people. The cost of our mini bus (which takes up to 8 people) is £170 per 8 hour day for the bus and driver/guide.We have just added an imported German chalet to our accommodation. This provides a twin bedded room with veranda, in the garden. Although it is not en-suite there is a toilet and shower room next to it, together with secure storage for your bikes, golfing euipment, walking gear etc.For £45 per night we throw in breakfast as well!!
