Information: Our two bunkhouse rooms are simply furnished with plenty of hooks and shelves for your personal belongings. Due to the limited power supply the rooms do not have electric sockets. The rooms are heated by Villager gas heating stoves which we will light prior to your arrival if it is very cold. The bunk beds have individual reading lights, covered mattresses and pillows with clean slips. Bring your sleeping bag or hire one from us.
There is a shower room with toilet, washbasin, mirror and shaver socket adjacent to each bunkroom. Hot water is unlimited with no slot meters. Any campers, who may or may not be part of your group, will need to share the toilet and shower facilities.
Outdoor living enthusiasts will love the open air kitchen and dining area, basic but undercover, with washing up facilities, lashings of hot water, food storage and two gas rings. Although not suitable for elaborate cooking it is stocked with adequate crockery, cutlery, pots and pans etc. and there is a fridge adjacent to the drying room. If it isn't big enough for all the bottles and cans there's always the river!
For the environmentally responsible we provide bottle and can banks by the gate and a compost bin for food waste. There is also a B.B.Q. for those balmy (barmy?) Welsh evenings and we can sell you some of our neighbour's locally produced charcoal. All you need is food and drink.
For the culinarily challenged we offer a campers breakfast at the Mill (fruit juice, cereals, yoghurt, fruit, toast, tea or coffee and either a cooked vegetarian breakfast or baguette and croissant with preserves). We can also provide simple evening meals (again all vegetarian) such as chilli with rice or veggie bangers, mash and peas with onion gravy. We have no alcohol license but keep an interesting selection of soft drinks, alternatively you are welcome to bring your own wine. Just let us know your requirements in advance.
Bunkhouse guests are welcome to use our common room from 4pm, where there is a selection of games and books, a television and payphone, also hot drink making facilities. As there is a bedroom above we ask that you vacate by 11pm. Bring a torch to light your way back to the bunkhouse.
Should you be unlucky enough to encounter any inclement Welsh weather our highly efficient drying room will get your wet clothes warm and dry by the morning - aIl part of the service.
Dog owners and parents, we keep ten temperamental ducks who are easily frightened and prone to disappearing if upset so please prevent your dogs and children from chasing them. They are shut in their house from dusk until 9am.
In order for the bunkhouse to be prepared for our next visitors we ask that you vacate by 12 noon on your departure date but we are happy to store your luggage for you if you wish to make the most of the day before leaving.

CAMPING: Sharing the same facilities as the bunkhouse there are a handful of pitches in the orchard suitable for tents and small camper vans. A campersí breakfast can be provided.
