Information: Craig Fawr country lodge offers bed and breakfast accommodation in a rural atmosphere yet close to the Royal Welsh Showground, the picturesque River Wye and the old market town of Builth Wells. The Red Kite Feeding Station at Gigrin Farm is also nearby.
Builth Wells has numerous shops and a cinema. Builth Road railway station (Swansea to Shrewsbury line) is near the house. The house retains many original features and charm with an oriental character. It stands in landscaped grounds of 1.75 acres, with lawns, woodlands, herbaceous borders and organic fruit and vegetables – the perfect place to relax while on holiday or after a hard day’s work.
The accommodation comprises an en-suite twin room and en-suite double room and a single bedroom with a private bathroom next door. Tea or coffee is provided in the bedrooms and an iron and ironing board are available for guests. The dining room looks out on the garden and the communal lounge has satellite television. There is ample car-parking space.
Evening meals and packed lunches can be obtained by prior arrangement.
